Vonage Bondage … Part Deux

Called Vonage back to ask them what were the fees included with that $123 to cancel. Here’s the bullshit they provided me below:

$79.00 … Vonage Adapter
$4.00 …. Tax for the Vonage Adapter
$39.99 … Cancellation fee

See the b.s. people the so-called “contract” is not with their service but there *is* a 1 year contract on the Vonage adapter if you get it from them . A load of bullshit. Something else I didnt see when I setup online as well although the web site shows it now that theres a one year agreement on it, I am pretty sure it was not there before.

So I asked if I could just return the adapter to avoid the cost … of course they said no! Did you think anything different? She said there is only a $30 money back gaurantee on the adapter. Why am I not surprised. I bought the thing as a refurb and it still works and they still sell the same adapter. But o well.

Vonage … so much red tape.

Good news is I managed to squeeze out another free month of service. Keep the free months rolling b!tches. I got another 5 months until the end of my so-called “Contract” which you swear up and down doesn’t exist; Vonbondage likes to call it an “Agreement” same effin thing to me if I can’t cancel my account without being charged a boatload of fees!
