Heat Wave 2024
Today is day 3,930 of the Summer of 2024 heat wave. The west coast is hitting the 120s but at least they don’t have humidity like we do here. It was only 84 but felt 110. The moment I step outside, I just sweat infinitely. I have to take a cloth with me to wipe my face or I look like a Krispy Kreme glazed donut left out in the sun.
In other news, I took my Precalculus test today, and it was by far the most stressful thing in my life. I literally felt sick and had a headache after it. The things I don’t understand is why I have to take it when the field I’m going into doesn’t even use it. I think that’s what frustrates me most about it because I hate doing things that have no purpose or don’t result into a fruitful end.
Only the bedroom has an AC but I hate just sitting in a bedroom all day. I like sitting in the bedroom. it makes me feel like at least I moved around. Sitting in the bedroom all day just makes me feel lazy and unaccomplished.
Again, I hate doing things that have no purpose or fruitful end.
The other thing is the onslaught of mosquitos is getting excrutiatingly bad. If they were removed from the ecosystem, they would not be missed.
