One a victim of war … one a victim of rogue, corrupt political power. No one wins. And the thing that really pisses me off is that after all this is said and done decades down the road … a scandal WILL be found in our government in this time. They won’t look at the forged documents that Colin Powell admitted to. They won’t even look at the fact that Bush went to war with Iraq for no other reason than “preemption”; they won’t look at the fact that Bush swore up and down that Iraq was hiding illegal nukes in Syria but no evidence has been found of that to this day. Everyone will be out of office and won’t be held accountable for their crimes of humanity. Those who are physically in touch with this war will be haunted with nightmares for years. The soldiers, the Iraqis, the doctors, the children, the families of the soldiers … everyone.
Not only was this war immoral but also I thought war was suppose to be used as a last resort if another country posed a threat to another … Iraq was and is as much of a threat as Cuba is to the United States. Sure we know they don’t like us but it’s nothing to go to war about.
I think that Bush just wanted to throw a little testosterone in peoples’ faces if you ask me. I don’t think he takes his Presidency seriously. I think he is just using his “powers” in office as entertainment because for some reason every time I see one of his State Of the Union speeches, I don’t feel he is really meaning what he is saying … if he knows what he is saying at all. In other words, he reminds me of some drunk college boy who never left the frat party – if you know what I mean and sees this Presidency as something “Bush wuz here” type of thing. He does not fully take in and digest that what he is about to do is going to affect millions and billions of people and the repurcussions of the action. I don’t see any party Demmy or Repub who 100% from the bottom of their heart agrees with this asshole.
It’s not the fact that Bush is Republican for the reason why I hate him … I hate Bush because he is *not* a thinker, charismatic, doesn’t represent the true voice of the American people or an intellectual and it permeates to everyone no matter what corner on the earth the person lives on or whether he is on TV or in person in addition it reflects back on my country.
