Voted today. Go-go Obama. To those in Virginia who have not voted yet, please please get out and vote and turn Virginia Blue!! If not blue then at least vote and stand for something and not just sit on the sidelines watching the world go by, because believe me, the haters are voting … in droves. If you don’t vote, I don’t want to hear one political or government complaint from you until 2016. You only have to do it every 4 years so it won’t kill you; I promise. And to you people, and you know who you are, on WELFARE need to get out and vote and not wait on the rest of the state to do it for you. … if you get your food stamps or not; I have never been and will probably, knock on wood, will never be on them, but I think of other people who hit a rock in life and I don’t mind my taxes going to people in those situations. Do for yourself because no one else will!
Was kind of disappointed today to see that my usual voting place had ZERO people in it … but me and the voting monitors. Last time I went the line was wrapped around the building. I’m just hoping that it’s due to them closing alot of the apartment complexes around here causing people to move and had to vote elsewhere. My Mom said that her voting location was packed though. Took me less than 5 minutes to vote tho so I was happy. Took me longer to vote on the two amendments to the Virginia constitution though because of all the derivatives I didn’t understand. Why can’t they make it easier to understand!
